New. Next. Now.
The year 2010 was touted as "The Year of the Conservative Woman." Following the lead of conservative stand-outs like Sarah Palin, Cathy McMorris Rodgers and Jan Brewer, more women than ever before took to the campaign trail to fight for responsible government, strong national security and fiscal restraint. These messages resonated with the American electorate.
While great strides were indeed made in sending more women to the halls of Congress and statehouses across the country, the fact is that conservative women are severely under-represented at all levels of government. The numbers are not pretty: of 535 Congressional seats, only 29 are held by conservative women.
The face of politics needs to change. She·PAC will take to the front lines to fight for that change. We will identify women who are proven leaders and who stand strong for conservative principles, and we will deploy the resources necessary to give them the best chance of winning.
